About This Blog

Hi everyone.  I am Kathi’s husband and the proud owner of the ever-present hand in our photographs.

If you already are a member of our Kathi’s Krystals client family, we sincerely thank you for your support of our efforts. If you are new to us, we happily welcome you to this page and our online store.

As of this writing (late September of 2013), we have just finished a major upgrade to the website, and thought that it would be a good time to start this blog.

The primary purposes of the blog will be to provide you with a clear explanation of how and why we do what we do, to discuss various aspects of the almost endless array of stones that we offer, and to keep you abreast of our activities, especially concerning new acquisitions and recent or upcoming additions to the website.

I will be adding posts on a regular basis, although certainly not every day.  You are cordially invited to participate in the discussion, but all submissions will be reviewed by us prior to publication.

In general, I will say the following about Kathi’s Krystals:

Online sellers of rocks and minerals span a very wide spectrum in how they approach the process.  This spectrum ranges from the… “You will receive a stone like this one” sellers to, well… us.

If you are looking for the cheapest stones that have been purchased in bulk, sold no matter what they look like or what defects they may have, presented with extremely little effort in terms of photography and description, packed and shipped as if a stone could never break, and delivered with the attitude that once you buy it you own it, we are not the place for you.

We are obsessed with quality and client service.  Dealers at the shows where we buy our stones and crystals tell us that we are the most picky customers that they have, and that we spend more time and effort selecting our goods than almost anyone.

We present our offerings with pictures from all sides and all important angles.  The only surprise that we want you to have when you open your box is that your stone or stones are even nicer than you expected… and, believe it or not, what you receive in the mail will be exactly what you saw on the website, even when it comes to Tumbled Stones.

We also take pride in the fact that we frequently offer items that you simply will not be able to find anywhere else. Our Malachite Worry Stones are just one of many examples.

We work our tails off at this job because we have a passion for the stones, and absolutely love providing our clients with treasures that they will cherish for a lifetime.

One client recently emailed that opening her box of stones was better than the last fifteen Christmas mornings put together. That is what it is all about.

We hope that you enjoy browsing our website, and visit this blog now and then. I am also an author, but will try to keep my posts as short and to the point as possible. That is tough sometimes due to the amazing nature of some of the wonders that we run across in our buying.

Thank you for visiting, and please do not hesitate to email if you have any questions or think that we might be able to be of help in any way.

Jack
