Tiffany Stone

This hard to find and quite costly stone comes out of only one
mine located in Utah.

The material’s typical purple color is the result of Fluorite,
which is the primary mineral inclusion in the stone, but
Tiffany often has traces of intergrown bertrandite, chalcedony,
opal, and/or quartz.

The stones listed on this page are actually slices of Tiffany
Stone, and many of them would make beautiful jewelry.

Please Note that these stones were tumble polished and some of them have a natural small hole or uneven area that is typical of stones of this type and nature. There are no characteristics that we consider to detract from the beauty of any of the pieces in a meaningful way.

Please note that the stones fluoresce under short-wave (254nm) ultraviolet light.
