We first saw one of these stones at the 2012 fall Denver show. The dealer had only one of them and showed it to Jack to see if he could figure out what it was.
Jack was amazed by the beauty of the stone, and even more surprised to learn that it was a very special variant of Lepidolite. The location of the mine in Brazil is apparently so secret that the person who supplies them to the dealer will not tell him the location of the deposit.
The stones are carved into small lingam shaped pieces, and they all have incredible shimmer on two opposite sides of the stone. No special photography was used for these pictures, just the flash showing the amazing shine coming from inside of the Lepidolite.
Every stone lover should have one of these incredible beauties.
