Azurite and Malachite

These polished stones have a combination of Azurite (blue) and Malchite (green), and come from Peru.

Rough specimens of Azurite and Malchite are not that hard to find, but we had never seen the two minerals together in polished form until a few years ago. These were one of our OMG moments at the Tucson Rock show and we go back to the same dealer to try to find more every year.

Highly sought after minerals in themselves, when combined in Palm Stones like these Azurite and Malachite become even more special.

Very hard to find and very hard not to love!
