Ancestralite

This wonderful mineral is a combination of Specular Hematite and Red Jasper and comes from Brazil.

Specular Hematite has beautiful sparkle in it. I (jack) have taken photos of particular areas of sparkle in the stones.

The Jasper is mostly a darker hue of red but it does vary with brighter red areas as well.

Ancestralite is a relative newcomer to the mineral world and has quickly become extremely popular. The stones listed below represent the very best of two pounds of the material that we acquired at the Tucson Rock Show.
