Azurite and Malachite

These amazing stones have a combination of both Azurite (blue) and Malachite (green) in a tan colored matrix and come from Peru.

Azurite and Malachite are both highly sought-after minerals individually, but when combined as in these Palm Stones they become even more appealing.

Azurite and Malachite are cousins and can often be found together in rough material, but finding them in polished stones like these is a much more difficult task.

We ran across these for the first time a few years ago in Tucson, and go back for more whenever we have the opportunity.
